Invisalign

Invisalign is the leader in clear bracket technology. Appleway was an early convert to this system, and we have dozens of successful cases walking the streets of Red Deer. This technology is the ‘treatment of choice’ for over 90% of adults contemplating teeth straightening. The brackets are removed for eating and cleaning, and simply inserted following the meal. Each bracket is designed to be worn for 14 days, after which a new one with a minimal adjustment is inserted. They are virtually undetectable which makes sense for many patients who work in the public eye. According to them, ‘railroad tracks’ do not make the grade!

Adolescents are more limited in their choices, as the clear removable brackets are most suitable for patients above 16 years of age. Dr. Dolynchuk addresses each orthodontic case on its own merit. Hybrid treatment (involving a combination of straightening programs) is commonplace in our clinic, because we will never insist on one treatment program or another based on esthetics alone. Our goal is to allow the patient the straightest teeth possible, which frequently necessitates a combination of technology. We want you to look good and feel comfortable during your treatment. If we can utilize the Invisalign™ aligner program for part or all of your case will do so. At present it is the treatment of choice for 92% of adults. Children require different orthodontic options than adults, and the new Teen Aligners are available. These, in possible combined treatment with our own wire and bracket system, allow us to present the speediest straightening treatment while still allowing the roots to stay healthy while they are being manipulated. We shall never compromise jaw or tooth health simply for the sake of promising the fastest treatment. Our patients are too important to us!
